Festival of the Future
In collaboration with Su Shaw/SHHE we created a series of sound installations for the Over The Garden Wall events at Dundee Botanic Garden in 2022. Using field recordings gathered from the flora, fauna and objects found in the gardens we created both an 8 channel installation entitled CANO I and a soundscape to accompany a fire walk entitled CANO II. We also ran a number of field recording workshops for young people at the gardens and used recordings gathered from the workshops in the installations
Dundee Design Festival
I worked with Dundee Design Festival in 2021 as the festival Audio Designer. We created the “Sounds of the City” installation in Hiltown Park which consisted of a series of pipes, each playing every day sounds from different cities around the world. These sounds can also be played back on the Dundee Design House website https://dundeedesignhouse.com/sounds-of-the-city/
